Applications for our Wildlife Rehabilitation Grant Program are OPEN!
“We’re excited to launch this year’s grant program right in time for National Wildlife Day,” said Pablo Colón, Director of Corporate Citizenship and Executive Director, Avangrid Foundation. “Last year our grant recipients utilized the funds they received to combat Avian Influenza, study copper toxicity, build new shelters, purchase nutritious food and much more. We look forward to reviewing the applications and continuing our support of organizations across the country that are doing the important work of caring for our wildlife.”
Since the program launched in 2016, Avangrid Foundation’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Grant Program has given a total of more than $500,000 to centers nationwide. Its goals include supporting local organizations caring for injured wildlife, promoting public outreach and education about wildlife resources and renewable energy, and strengthening relationships with the environmental community where the company operates.
