To participate in Avangrid tenders, you need to be invited by email to create an account in SAP Ariba Network and associate the account to the Avangrid environment called IBuy. We’ll explain the process step-by-step below and offer some manuals and videos so that you can get to know your way around the platform.
Are you going to participate in Avangrid procurement processes?
1. IBuy registration invitation To participate in Avangrid tenders you need to be invited by email to create an account on SAP Ariba Business Network and to associate the account with Avangrid’s IBuy environment.
Registration in IBuy has these following steps:
Registration invitation email
ANID account in SAP Ariba (either by creating a new account or with a pre-existing account)
Associating the account with IBuy
Iberdrola supplier registration questionnaire
Full acceptance
Registration completed

Keep in mind: Keep your Ariba account contacts up to date. If you’re the administrator, make sure you correctly assign the role to another person before leaving your position to avoid access and bid management problems. Incidents caused by incorrect maintenance of contacts or administrator changes cannot be resolved by the Avangrid team. The supplier has to manage them directly with the SAP Ariba help center .
2. Supplier classification system
Avangrid uses the Achilles Enterprise-GoSupply cloud solution for its suppliers’ evaluation, classification, risk measurement and sustainability. Find out about the different kinds we work with on the Supplier classification system page.
3. Participation in our procurement processes
Once the supplier has registered in IBuy, it can participate in Avangrid’s tenders and purchasing processes. The supplier will receive an email notifying them that they’ve been invited to participate in a purchasing process and indicating the link to follow to access the platform.
