As a member of the Iberdrola Group, Avangrid supports Iberdrola’s goal to be carbon neutral in generation by 2030 and net zero before 2040. Since 2018, Avangrid’s emissions intensity rate has been more than five times lower than the U.S. electric power sector average. Through our Power business, we are one of the nation's largest producers of wind and solar energy, with over 11 GW of emissions-free installed capacity.
