AVANGRID Achieves Globally Recognized Certification for Corporate Compliance

Ethisphere certifies company with Compliance Leader Verification, extending an earlier 2019-2021 verification

ORANGE, Conn. — June 1, 2021 — AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR), a leading sustainable energy company, today announced recertification of its Compliance Leader Verification from the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing standards for ethical business practices. This marks the continuation of the company’s previous 2019-2020 verification.

Ethisphere awards Compliance Leader Verification certification exclusively to companies with best-in-industry corporate compliance programs, sending a clear signal to key stakeholders that their company takes compliance and ethics seriously.
