Avangrid, a company of the Iberdrola Group, aims to create an environment of transparency and promote respect for the law and the rules of conduct established in its Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
To this end, Avangrid has a Helpline that aims to facilitate the reporting of potentially irregular or unlawful conduct, or conduct that may violate the Governance and Sustainability System. The essential principles are:
Prohibition of retaliation:
Avangrid has a zero-tolerance policy against retaliation against any person who has made a report in good faith.
Anonymity:
Communications can be made anonymously.
Confidentiality:
An essential principle in managing communications received is maintaining the confidentiality of the reporter and any third party mentioned in the communication, as well as personal data.
Helpline Management:
Avangrid’s Compliance Unit manages to the Helpline in accordance with the procedure approved by the Avangrid Board of Directors.
Rights of affected individuals:
Individuals impacted by the investigation have a right to privacy and a fair and thorough investigation.

Reporters can report claims online using the online form (see below). Alternatively, reporters can access the Helpline using the toll-free telephone number: 833-910-3820. All Helpline telephone calls are answered by employees of a third party, Continental Message Solution, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
