Rotational Graduate Program
Rotational Graduate Program
Join us in building the clean energy workforce of the future! Visit our Careers Site to apply for one of our early career development programs.
Our Rotational Graduate Program is designed to prepare early career employees to be future leaders or technical specialists within Avangrid. The two-year program is intended for recent graduates with less than two years of professional experience. Rotational Graduates start in an entry-level position in a specific field and work to become well-rounded members of their Hiring Manager’s team upon completion of the program.
The program follows the 70/20/10 model of learning:
- 70% On-the-Job Experience: Rotational Graduates rotate through three to four challenging assignments locally within Avangrid, with the opportunity to rotate internationally within the Iberdrola Group, typically in Spain or the UK.
- 20% Relationships: Rotational Graduates build connections with the Talent Development team, their Hiring Manager, Rotational Managers, coworkers, a formal mentor from the business, and fellow Rotational Graduates through quarterly Cohort Connects.
- 10% Formal Training: Rotational Graduates participate in quarterly workshops to learn practical skills, including giving and receiving feedback, embracing change, and leading meetings.
