Avangrid continues to earn national recognition for inclusion, corporate ethics, and employee well-being

ORANGE, CT. — October 3, 2025 — Avangrid, Inc., a leading energy company and member of the Iberdrola Group, today announced it has been awarded a place on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Women 2025. This prestigious recognition, presented in collaboration with Statista, recognizes Avangrid’s commitment to inclusion, equity, and empowering women at every level.

Forbes America’s Best Employers for Women 2025 is based on data collected through online panels, with over 140,000 women working for companies and institutions in the U.S. with at least 1,000 employees over the past three years. Only responses from women were considered. The analysis is based on three criteria:

  1. Personal evaluations: Recommendations from current employers
  2. Public evaluations: Recommendations from previous employers
  3. Leadership Diversity Index: Index based on the percentage of women among top executives and board directors.

Avangrid employs approximately 8,000 people and has been recognized by JUST Capital as one of the JUST 100 companies – a ranking of America’s best corporate citizens – in 2025 for the fifth consecutive year. The company was named among the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2025 for the seventh consecutive year by the Ethisphere Institute. Avangrid was one of 20 organizations named a 2025 Corporate Wellness Innovator by Fast Company and Wellhub.
