Orange, CT — January 22, 2026 — Avangrid, Inc., a leading energy company and member of the Iberdrola Group, today announced it has been certified as a Top Employer 2026. The distinction, awarded by the Top Employer Institute, recognizes Avangrid's excellence in people and talent development. The recognition follows Iberdrola's achievement of the Top Employer Enterprise seal for the third consecutive year, making it the only energy company in the world to receive this distinction.

“As a member of the Iberdrola Group, Avangrid is given access to global expertise, best‑in‑class HR practices and a shared purpose centered on our people,” said Avangrid CEO Jose Antonio Miranda. “Earning the Top Employer 2026 recognition demonstrates how Iberdrola’s global strength translates into opportunities and support for our employees in the United States, empowering them to learn and lead us into a smarter and more resilient energy future.”

The Enterprise certification reflects the results of ten independent audits across the Group’s operations in the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, Australia and Greece. Each audit evaluated the strength and adaptability of local human resources practices to ensure alignment with employee needs and business strategy.
