Avangrid Networks Announces New Chief Compliance Officer
Orange, Connecticut — April 11, 2019 — AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR), today announced the appointment of Andrew Jacobs as Chief Compliance Officer for its subsidiary, Avangrid Networks, Inc., which operates eight regulated electric and natural gas distribution companies in New England and New York State.
Jacobs will oversee day-to-day operations for AVANGRID’s award-winning corporate compliance and ethics program at these companies.

The Boards of Directors of AVANGRID and its two subsidiaries, Avangrid Networks and Avangrid Renewables, have each appointed full-time executive Chief Compliance Officers to demonstrate their commitments to corporate ethics and compliance.
Prior to joining Avangrid Networks, Jacobs was the Assistant General Counsel for Corporate Compliance at a Fortune 500 insurance and financial services company based in Hartford, Connecticut. He has also held positions at international law firms and in the U.S. federal court system. Jacobs holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University.
