SAP Business Network (IBuy), Avangrid’s purchasing platform
SAP Business Network (IBuy) is also the procurement platform for Avangrid. To participate in Avangrid tenders, you must be registered in SAP Business Network, following the steps outlined in the Registration Invitation section.
1. Registration invitation in SAP Business Network
To participate in Avangrid tenders you need to be invited by email to create an account on SAP Business Network and link it with the Avangrid environment (internally referred to as Ibuy). If you already have an account, you can also use it.
2. Supplier classification system
Avangrid uses the Achilles Enterprise-GoSupply cloud solution for its suppliers’ evaluation, classification, risk measurement and sustainability. Find out about the different kinds we work with on the Supplier classification system page.
3. Participation in our procurement processes
Once the supplier has registered in SAP Business Network (IBuy), they are eligible to participate in Avangrid’s tenders and purchasing processes. As explained in the Registration Invitation section ,the supplier will receive an email notifying them that they’ve been invited to participate in a purchasing process and indicating the link to follow to access the platform.
