Avangrid believes the workplace should be respectful and free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. We are committed to operating in a manner that is consistent with all applicable equal employment opportunity local, state, and federal laws. We have a formal process where employees who have experienced or witnessed these unlawful behaviors can immediately report the incident. 

Avangrid does not tolerate discrimination, harassment or retaliation and will take prompt corrective action if violations occur. 

Avangrid maintains policies to promote an equitable workplace and protect employees from harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, some of which are available below:

Avangrid has implemented these and other policies to provide employees with a professional workplace with clear prohibitions on discrimination and harassment based on any legally-recognized status, including but not limited to: race, color, religion, national origin, age, ancestry, genetic information, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, or any other status protected by federal, state or local law.  

Avangrid has developed and implemented Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) to support its commitment to the principle of equal employment opportunity. These Plans describe the policies and procedures used to carry out our commitment.

Avangrid also provides an independent 24/7 Helpline available for employees to report concerns.
