The Avangrid Foundation is dedicated to contributing to sustainable human development and human rights through investments that reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for the most disadvantaged, underserved, or at-risk people in our communities, with a special focus on children, youth, women, critically ill, and other-abled individuals. Some of the programs we support provide access to basic services and promote youth education, economic inclusion, and gender equality.

That’s why for nearly a decade the Avangrid Foundation has partnered with SMART Reading to work toward a future in which all children are able to realize their full potential through reading.

One in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer. Early detection is instrumental in managing breast cancer. So are research and support. This is why AVANGRID’s business resource group WomENergy is taking action in multiple ways during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
