Avangrid Foundation, UI & SCG Support Habitat for Humanity
Avangrid Foundation, in partnership with local subsidiaries United Illuminating and Southern Connecticut Gas, has recognized Habitat for Humanity as a 2018-2019 Neighborhood Revitalization Partner. A generous grant of $20,000 has been awarded to continue the stabilization and revitalization of neighborhoods in New Haven. The grant will help to fund this work through 2019.

Avangrid Renewables signs PPA with Nike
Avangrid Renewables signed its second major wind contract with Nike, this time for 86 megawatts of Texas wind power. The Karankawa wind farm will produce enough energy each year to power the equivalent of more than 75,000 average households with carbon free energy.
